ROMAN KIRILENKO
Painter and printmaker.
Roman
Kirilenko is an artist and graphic designer specializing in
photography, printmaking, graphic design and painting. He is the
recipient of a Canadian silver medal award for his photography in
Edmonton. In 2001, Bellone Publishers printed his photo album about
Tunisia and in 1992. Since
then he has published more than 1000 graphic projects in books - in 2015. Hulewicz prize awarded for his contribution to the art of the book by the Polish Writers, folders,
calendars, and posters. He also designed typographic and typesetting
projects for magazines and newspapers including "Gazeta Pomorska,"
"Gazeta Torunska," "Gazeta Kujawska," "Praca i Zabezpieczenie
Spoleczne" (PWE), and other professional magazines. Earlier, Roman
Kirilenko was a regular contributor as an artist and graphic designer
for weekly periodicals such as "Kultura" and "Politechnik," -
(1977-1981) and publishing companies such as Ksiazka i Wiedza, KAW,
PWN, PAX, PWE, Iskry, InterArt, Novum, Graphio, Ethos, ZG PZD, PZN
ZWiN, Juka, Bellona, WSIP, and others. Kirilenko received his M.F.A. in
Graphic Arts at the Fine Arts Academy, Warsaw, Poland, in 1983. 1985 –
MKiS artistic scholarship. In 1982-1983 research assistant at the
Faculty of Graphic Arts in studio photography.
